We make all of our splashbacks individually to order for each customer. This means that there are no standard sizes, and the splashback will be made to fit your requirements perfectly. We can make a splashback as large as 2100mm x 1200mm in one single piece. Larger splashbacks can be achieved by making in sections with neat joins.
We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to cut the glass yourself. We can arrange for the glass to be professionally water-jet cut to accommodate shaped extractor hoods, for example. There is an additional charge for this service.
We advise that a strong, flexible silicon adhesive is used and we provide an appropriate quantity of our recommended brand with each splashback. We supply full fixing instructions with each splashback, or a copy is available in advance upon request.
Our splashbacks are ideally suited to kitchen designs. There should be a minimum distance of 10cm from the back of the hob or range cooker, to the front of the glass. If this distance is less than 10cm, then an upstand with a height of at least 10cm should be installed, onto which the splashback can be fitted.
Our splashbacks vary in thickness according to the design. Most designs, such as the Linjär, Wave, Grasses, Stripe, Earth and Mono series are flat and have a thickness of approximately 9mm. Designs in the Colonsay series have an undulating surface and the thickness varies from 9mm up to 14mm.
Our glass is easy to keep clean with warm water, washing up liquid and a soft sponge. Finish by polishing with a soft dry cloth. Abrasive materials and boiling hot water should not be used.
If you have any questions about the care or suitability of our glass splashbacks for your project please do not hesitate to contact us.
