Steve is going to be holding another of his 'introduction to glass fusing with enamels' courses here at our new Studio in St Davids, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The date is Saturday, 1st June 2013.
Why not combine a glass fusing workshop with a short break to Pembrokeshire, and join in the St Davids Day celebrations! We're very proud of Shaun who, having completed his six month apprenticeship with us, has been made a permanent member of our team. We now have a new opening for a further Apprentice and are offering a new six month apprenticeship through the Jobs Growth Wales scheme.
Previous relevant work experience is not necessary as full training will be given. We are looking for someone who is very organised, quick to learn, and who has the potential to develop excellent practical skills. As the work involves calculating precise measurements, a good standard of maths is necessary. You will have contact with our valued customers, so a personable manner and strong communication skills are also important.
If you'd like more information, in the first instance please email Hannah Robinson.

Steve has created a new design for our curved panels, which look beautiful on a window sill, or with a tea-light candle behind. The 'Winter Tree' is available in two colour-ways ('Sunset' or 'Snow', as shown left and right) and in two sizes – small at £25 (approx. height 13cm) and large at £35 (approx. height 18cm). Hannah has been fortunate enough to be invited to take part in the LEAD Wales programme - a revolutionary training and development programme designed to enhance leadership skills - which she hopes will assist her in helping to grow the business further.
A month into the course, Hannah is already implementing ideas prompted by the programme, such as an improved appraisal and development structure for our apprentices. For more information on the programme visit http://www.leadwales.co.uk/

Grand Relocation Clearance Sale!

During our 10 years in business we have amassed a truly enormous amount of surplus seconds stock that we cannot fit in to our to our new premises in Goat Street.
As a result we are holding a Grand Relocation Sale on Saturday, 22nd September, from 10am to 4pm. There will be hundreds of tiles, as well as a large number of splashbacks, wall hangings, bowls, and other items, all discounted by at least 66%!
