Steve reaches the finals…
Back in 2010 Steve was awarded the Gold Prize for Glass in the 'craft&design' Magazine Awards, a major UK industry event recognising excellence and skills in professional craft and design.
This year's awards are now underway and Steve is delighted to again have reached the finals.
The judge of the Glass category will be leading glass authority Andy McConnell (you might recognise him from Antiques Roadshow!)
The winner will be announced in May. Fingers crossed!
In the press...
Steve's work is featured in the May '15 issue of Sailing Today magazine (www.sailingtoday.co.uk)
We are seeking beautiful kitchens in which to photograph some of our newly launched handmade glass splashback designs. We will need to see photos of your kitchen (if already installed) or otherwise full details of the intended style/brand of kitchen and the other finishes used (eg cabinetry, worktop, flooring, paint, lighting).
We are looking for up to 4 or 5 kitchens, in both modern and classic styles to feature our new Linjar series as well as some of our new Earth and Stripe colourways.
We will ask that you pay only the cost of delivery (typically £100 in mainland UK), and we will provide the splashback in a design that we agree upon, free of charge. In return you will need to allow our professional photographer full access for a photoshoot.
If interested in being considered contact Hannah Robinson on email@example.com for further details.
New Splashback Designs
We are very excited to launch a fresh new collection of splashback designs for Spring/Summer 2015.
Linjär is Swedish for linear, and this collection is a contemporary graphic pattern using lines of varying widths and lengths. The enamels from each coloured strip bleed gently to soften the effect. There are four different colourways to choose from, which you can see here.
Using these four colour palettes, we have also added some new lovely new colourways to our Earth and Stripe ranges. Let us know what you think!
St Davids Lifeboat Station
Later this year, the RNLI will be holding an auction to raise funds towards the new lifeboat station being constructed at St Justinians, on the edge of St Davids.
Steve was asked if he would be willing to donate a piece for the auction, and has specially created this wall hanging. A full auction catalogue is being put together; let us know if you'd like to receive details when confirmed.
Before and after..
This splashback in our "Calm" Wave design creates a statement feature in this beautifully re-fitted kitchen.

Glass Fusing Course
Steve will be holding another of his 'Introduction to Glass Fusing with Enamels' courses here at the Studio in St Davids, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales. The date is Saturday, 7th March 2015.
On the course you will be given expert instruction in the techniques required to produce your own stunning glass panel up to a size of 30cm x 60cm - so you could use it as a wall hanging, or even a splashback. An example made by a student on a previous course is shown above.
Read full details about the glass fusing workshops by downloading the info sheet here.
Call to book your place on 01437 721357 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Spaces are strictly limited to five per workshop, and allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
If buying a place on the course as a gift, we can provide you with a voucher to give the recipient.

…to all of our valued customers and friends!
Thank you very much for your custom throughout 2014; it is much appreciated and we wish you all a happy and peaceful time over Christmas, and a healthy and prosperous 2015.
This year rather than sending cards in the post, we have made a donation of £100 to "Target Ovarian Cancer", a cause highlighted to us this year when a customer was diagnosed with the disease.
Our last day before the holidays will be Monday 22nd December 2014. We will then be closed throughout the Christmas and New Year period, re-opening for business on Monday 5th January 2015.
Current Work Available
We've created a new page on our website called Gallery Pieces. If you are unable to visit our Pembrokeshire Gallery in person, here you will find a selection of Steve's work that we currently have available for purchase.
