The Local Area
We highly recommend a stay in our very special part of Wales. Britain’s only coastal National Park, Pembrokeshire boasts spectacular scenery – in fact National Geographic judged the Pembrokeshire coast as the second best coastal destination in the World!
There are beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore, the 186 mile coastal path to walk, puffins and dolphins to spot, castles and legends to discover, and for the more adventurous – kayaking, coasteering, climbing and diving.
Within easy reach of our Gallery on the St David’s Peninsula, here are just a few of the highlights that we recommend:
Have a stroll on Whitesands beach and then walk along St David’s Head for a picnic on the smaller hidden beach of Porthmelgan
See an abundance of wildlife from a boat trip around Ramsey Island with Falcon Boats
Take afternoon tea on the lawn with a fabulous sea view at the Warpool Court Hotel
Visit Solva Woollen Mill (the oldest working woollen mill in Pembrokeshire) to see the weaving in action and browse their lovely mill shop
Enjoy freshly caught fish with chips at The Shed bistro, overlooking the harbour in Porthgain
There is a variety of accommodation for all budgets.
These are a few suggestions within a short distance of our Gallery:
